Aarohi Bal Sansar (ABS) started its journey as a pre-primary school in 1994 in Satoli. The village communities expressed a need for a sort of better learning ground for education. The poorly run government schools were available but the communities valued the need for quality education. Feeding into the need of the local communities and building on Aarohi’s philosophy of long term integrated sustainable growth, ABS took birth. With a humble beginning with just eight students and two local teachers, today ABS is a full-fledged Hindi medium middle school with classes from nursery till class 8. It caters to 168 children from 12 neighbouring villages and has 15 full time teachers.

The vision for ABS was for it to be a learning ground where focus is on ‘holistic development of the personality in a joyful environment’. The environment-friendly school buildings, a large playground, a 1:11 teacher-student ratio, healthy blend of activities, creative teaching and inputs from volunteers make the school a wonderful space for children. It is an inclusive school where admissions are on a first come first serve basis with special efforts to include children from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.

It provides creative learning, a strong foundation in languages, mathematics and science. Co-curricular activities include sports, music, dance and theatre, art and craft, environment education and educational tours.

Our scholarship programs are there to provide an opportunity to the really poor to continue their education and especially talented children with a chance to explore their potential.
